Returning to my country of origin
If you are denied a residence permit by the Dutch government, it is important to think about your future. We understand that this is not easy. You can talk to VluchtelingenWerk Nederland about a possible return. Or to another organization that offers return support.

Other options after asylum rejection
If the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) rejects your application for asylum, the Dutch government requires you to return to your country of origin. The government will ask you to leave the asylum seekers' center. You may end up on the street, although this is not the case in all situations. For example, families with children are always given shelter. Ask your supervisor at VluchtelingenWerk (VWN) about your situation regarding shelter.
