Here you will find information about where you can get clothing and, for example, toys or furniture.

Goods4Ukraine is a platform that brings supply and demand together with the aim of helping refugees with a need for necessities like clothing, toys and more. The site is available in English, Ukrainian & Russian.

On the platform of NLvoorelkaar (NL for each other) you can find collection campaigns for clothing and other goods. People also offer clothing or goods that they do not need anymore.

Kledingbank (Clothing bank)

De Kledingbank is an organisation that donates reusable clothes, shoes and bedding to those in need who cannot afford it. Via the link below, you can find an overview of Dutch clothing banks per province (only in Dutch).

Thrift store

In a thrift store you can find cheap items and second hand clothing. Use the link below to find a thrift store near you (website only in Dutch).

Online market places

Through several websites you can find inexpensive or even free goods. Marktplaats is a nationwide website where you can get in touch with people in your area who sell second-hand goods (such as bicycles, mobile phones, clothing or furniture) or even give them away for free. On Facebook you can also get in touch with people who are offering goods for free or for a small price. This is possible via Facebook Marketplace. There are also many Facebook groups where members sell things or give things away for free. These are often regional initiatives.

Facebook group Oekraïne vluchtelingen NL

This Facebook group is meant to bring refugees from Ukraine in touch with Dutch people who want to help. For example donating goods, doing voluntary work and other initiatives.

Koningsdag and vrijmarkt (King's Day and flea market)

On April 27, the Netherlands celebrates Koningsdag (King's Day). On this day, everyone who is employed has the day off and there are many cities where people celebrate. People are allowed to sell stuff on the flea market without a permit. See the link for more information about King's Day.

Ukrainian flag

Would you like to order a Ukrainian flag? You can do so at the Vlaggenunie website below.

Facebook giveaway

Looking for furniture or other stuff? On Facebook you can often find (free) stuff by searching in the search bar under Weggeefhoek + name place. Be careful when you purchase something through Facebook. It is not always reliable.
