App Can't Wait to Learn provides emergency education

The Can't Wait to Learn app allows Ukrainian children to continue learning wherever they are. If going to school is currently not possible, the Can't Wait to Learn app offers a solution.

In cooperation with the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science, the aid organisation Osvitoria and War Child, the online educational programme Can't Wait to Learn has been developed. The programme is currently available for children in year groups 1 through 4 and is now focusing on math lessons. Reading lessons are also being developed and will be available later this month.

With the help of Ukrainian children and artists, a learning world was created in which they recognise their country and culture. Through the collaboration, children see themselves and their own environment reflected in the educational games they play. Through the app, children receive feedback after playing educational mini-games. This allows everyone to learn at their own pace.

The Can't Wait to Learn app is not a substitute for regular education. It is a way to keep learning until there is an opportunity to go back to school. Teachers, parents and caregivers can download the app to use it wherever they are.
