Do you enjoy singing, dancing or playing a musical instrument? Then join the Refugee Council Netherlands' Christmas video and share your Christmas greeting.

With the days getting colder and the holidays approaching, Zana Naidionova, Ukraine team leader at VluchtelingenWerk Nederland, thought it would be a good idea to make a big music and above all festive video. Children across the country can show how well they can sing, dance or play through a video. Through this video, everyone gets into the Christmas spirit anyway. "When I was talking with colleagues about the upcoming Christmas period, this idea came to me spontaneously. I immediately worked with some children on a song and a dance. I saw right away that these children loved doing it. They took it very seriously."

Zana mentions that in the dark days before Christmas, it is good for children to come together and work on something positive. Something that gives a little light in the dark times. Connection is also an important theme for Zana: "We hope to bring Ukrainian and Dutch children together with this action. In addition, it is good for Ukrainian children to know that they are not alone. That they can find support from each other."

A nice compilation will be made of all the videos submitted. "We hope the video will be shared a lot, so that as many people as possible receive a Christmas greeting," Zana mentions.
