Health care benefit

Healthcare benefits are a contribution to the costs of your healthcare insurance. Refugees from Ukraine who take out a health insurance policy may be eligible for this. Besides taking out a health insurance policy you have to meet the other regular conditions and the amount of your income and your own assets and those of your 'allowance partner', for example if you are married, are taken into account. Child benefit

Child benefit is a contribution towards your child's maintenance costs. If you live in the Netherlands and have one or more children under the age of 18, you may be entitled to child benefit. Child-related budget

The supplementary child benefit is a contribution that comes on top of the child benefit. To qualify for the supplementary child benefit, your and your partner's income must not be too high and you must meet certain requirements. Childcare benefit

The childcare benefit is a contribution towards the cost of childcare for working or studying parents. Currently there is no specific regulation for Ukrainian refugees to claim childcare benefit. Because of the importance of childcare benefit, the government will pay advances as of 20 July 2022, pending a change in the law. This means that Ukrainian refugees, entitled under the pending change in law, can still claim childcare benefit. Do you want to know whether you are entitled to childcare benefit? Rent benefit

Currently there is no specific regulation for Ukrainian refugees to claim rent benefit. Due to the importance of rent benefit for people with a low income, the government will pay advances on rent benefit as of 20 July 2022, pending a change in the law.
