Here you will find information on where to get food.

Voedselbank (Food bank)

In municipalities all over the country Voedselbank Nederland (Food Bank Netherlands) distributes food parcels to refugees from Ukraine. For questions, please contact the local food bank.

On the platform of NLvoorelkaar (NL for each other) you can find collection campaigns for food. There are also people that offer to cook meals or help you with grocery shopping.

The largest supermarket chains in the Netherlands for daily groceries, with branches across the country, are: Albert Heijn, Jumbo, Aldi, SPAR, Lidl, Coop, PLUS, Dirk, DekaMarkt, and Deen.

Ukrainian groceries

Not all Ukrainian products are for sale in Dutch supermarkets. Where you can often find Ukrainian products is at local Polish supermarkets, and possibly also at Turkish or Moroccan shops. Examples of shops are Food Plus, Polski Smak and Zapolski (South of the Netherlands). In addition, you can have affordable Ukrainian products delivered to your home via Nashonline. For cheap and fresh products such as fruit or vegetables, you can also go to local (farmers') markets throughout the Netherlands.

Too Good to Go

At Too Good to Go you can order products that the local entrepreneur has spare at the end of the day for a greatly reduced price. You can order them via the app (IOS and Android). These boxes are often between €3 and €5. In the app you can see which shops sell the boxes.
