
Learn Dutch online for free with 'Taalversnellers'

Would you like to learn Dutch? Have you not yet started the civic integration process with your municipality? If so, you can participate in the UAF's 'Taalversnellers' programme free of charge. You will learn Dutch up to level B1.

Who is this programme for?
This programme is for people with a residence permit who need to integrate into the Netherlands. You can participate if:
You have not yet started civic integration in a
.municipalityYou have at least 10 years of previous education.
You speak English or Dutch at an intermediate level.
Your level of Dutch is A0, A1 or A2.
You should also have 7 to 14 hours a week to study. You also need a quiet place and good internet.
How do you sign up?
You first sign up for an online information session. Then you get a link to sign up. You also create a study plan. Then you have a short online intake interview. Then you will hear if you can start.
The online information sessions are on Thursday, 2 April, Thursday, 7 May, Thursday, 4 June and Thursday, 2 July 2026. They are from 19:30 to 20:30 each time.
Good to know about 'Taalversnellers'
The programme lasts for 1 year. A new group starts every month. You must prepare well and participate actively. You must also attend at least 80 percent of the meetings. Have you already started civic integration in the municipality? Then you cannot participate.
