Together with AaRDE Foundation and WE organisation, VluchtelingenWerk Nederland (VWN) is organising meetings for people with a refugee background about the political municipal elections. Read more about these meetings in your neighbourhood.
Who are the meetings for?
The course is for new Dutch citizens, people with a residence permit and people still in the asylum procedure. And for anyone who wants to learn more about politics in the Netherlands.
Everyone is welcome to join. You do not have to speak perfect Dutch.

The meetings are in Dutch, English and Arabic. Translators are present.
Why participate?
Learn about your rights: you will learn the basics of local politics in the Netherlands.
Use your voice: you will learn what you can do to have a say and make decisions in your municipality. You will also learn how to talk to politicians.
The course is easy and in several languages. And there is plenty of room for questions.

Maastricht: 1 March.
