The municipality of Amsterdam is closing the application centre (HUB) at the central station. As the reception locations in many nearby municipalities are full. If you have just arrived in the Netherlands, you can go to the application centre in Utrecht or Rotterdam.
The HUB in Amsterdam temporarily stops distributing Ukrainian refugees to different reception sites. Around 30 people per day register at this HUB. Here Ukrainians are assigned a place in the municipal reception centre in Amsterdam or at a location somewhere else in the country. As these reception places are full, the HUB in Amsterdam can no longer forward people.
You can still register at two application locations in the Netherlands, in Rotterdam and Utrecht. From these application locations you will be assisted with finding a place in a reception centre, food and medical care.
The exact addresses are:
Rotterdam, Max Eeuwelaan 1 (open all week from 10:00 and 18:00 for immediate reception, registration and referral to another reception centre)
Utrecht, Jaarbeurs, Hall 5 (open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
Please bear in mind that there is no guarantee that you will be accommodated within your preferred municipality. For example, because there are no reception centres available within that municipality.
This HUB Amsterdam is closed from 20 October 2023. The HUB will reopen when there are enough reception centre places available in the municipality of Amsterdam.
