If you have fled from Ukraine, the municipality must arrange housing for you until you can rent accommodation yourself. You can also live temporarily with a host family.
You must register upon arrival in the Netherlands
Are you new to the Netherlands? Then the Dutch government will make sure you are taken care of. To receive a place in a reception centre, you must go to a registration location:
Utrecht, Jaarbeurs, Hall 5 (temporarily closed)
Eindhoven, Castiliëlaan (temporarily closed)
Amsterdam, Centraal Station (temporarily closed)
Rotterdam, Max Euwelaan (temporarily closed)
All registration centres are currently full. However, some people can still register at the registration location at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. These are: - Elderly people - Families with children - Children travelling alone - Women travelling alone - People who are ill. Men travelling alone and couples without children cannot temporarily register upon arrival in the Netherlands. You must take care of your own accommodation. Can you stay with friends or family? Then you can report to the municipality in which they live. It is not clear when you can register again at 1 or more of these locations.
