Changing reception centre location not possible due to the reception centres being full
The municipal reception centres for Ukrainians throughout the Netherlands are full. This means that you cannot change your reception centre location. There is also little space if you are just arriving in the Netherlands.
The municipality is responsible for your reception centre
The municipality where you are registered is responsible for your reception centre. Most of the reception centre locations in the Netherlands are full. This means that the municipality can only offer you one place.
If you would like to change reception centre locations within your municipality or move to another municipality, ask your location manager about the possibilities.
Do not leave the reception centre without consulting your location manager
If you want to leave your reception centre temporarily, you must tell the location manager or the municipality. If you do not inform them, the municipality may decide to give your place to someone else after 14 days. Also, after 28 days the municipality may stop the living allowance and deregister you from the
If you return to the Netherlands after being completely deregistered, you can be re-registered. You must then meet the current conditions to fall under temporary protection. Keep in mind that you will not be accommodated in the same place.
So make good arrangements with the location and/or municipality where you live about the terms of your departure. Contact them immediately if something happens that prevents you from being back on the agreed date.
