24 February 2024 will mark 2 years since Russia invaded Ukraine. Vital'nya is organising the commemoration "Remember Together" at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht on this day. You are welcome to participate for free.

The day is about living in two worlds

The programme is about the topic of "Living in two worlds". How does it feel to live in the Netherlands while being reminded of the suffering of loved ones in Ukraine? How can Ukrainians and Dutch help each other? Both now and after the end of the war. "Most of us have been in the Netherlands for a while and the initial shock is behind us. Now it is about living in two worlds on so many levels," says Anna Bieliaieva, creator of the first edition of "Remember Together".

You can participate in activities or presentations

Activities and presentations will take place in the exhibition hall and foyer of the Jaarbeurs from 11:00 to 17:00. In the exhibition hall you will find Ukrainian living rooms. Each living room is in 1 of 4 zones: Connect, Support, Growth & Rebuild. In these living rooms there are meetings between both worlds. For example, a musical by Ukrainian children for Dutch children, workshops on mental health and meetings between Ukrainian and Dutch veterans. There will also be a joint meeting in the Beatrix Theater of Jaarbeurs between 13:00 and 14:00.
